Tanya Bryant, M.Ed.

Certified Grief Coach

Founder

Tanya is an educational professional with a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and 20+ years of experience in teaching, school administration, leadership, training staff, collecting and analyzing data, providing customer service, and coaching.

She retired as an assistant principal from St. Charles Parish Public Schools in 2017. During her tenure, she served in numerous capacities including Discipline Committee Chairperson, Literacy Coach, Safe Schools Chairperson, Responsive Classroom Building Facilitator, Positive Behavior Support Team Chairperson, and as part of the school district's Literacy Redesign Team.

Tanya is also a certified grief coach and founder of The Jaybird Project. She coaches individuals as well as small groups and has written and published blog entries to inform and educate others going through the hardships of grief.

She has relocated to Long Beach and is ready to continue her love and passion for helping children and families in need.

Connie became a licensed minister over 20 years ago from California's Vineyard Christian Fellowship a non-denomination church equipping people to move in their potential. She moved back 7 yrs. ago to her home state, Mississippi enjoying the beautiful Gulf Coast. Feeling a call in California after graduating with a BA in Communications/Theatre from Miss State University, followed by 2 years of Theology training at Vineyard Life Institute in California and assistant chaplain at Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, CA, interning in Clinical Pastoral Education, (CPE). 

Trained Speaker, teacher, and consultant presenting at workshops and conferences regionally and nationally. Now her Chaplain role in Vital Caring Healthcare offers bereavement support. She helps people in the process equipping them to press through struggles of grief and loss finding ways to "Journey to Joy" after many types of loss and grief- Infertility. Illnesses. Divorce. Death. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, ... and keeps us present before God. That's why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good."

With more than twenty years as an educator, I have had the privilege of guiding students and teachers toward their goals, fostering personal growth, and facilitating positive changes in various aspects of their lives. My coaching philosophy centers around becoming proactive in the process, accountable for making changes, and speeding up the healing. As a coach, I utilize guided discussions and activities to help you move forward.
