Tanya Bryant is a graduate counseling intern currently pursuing a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans, Louisiana. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University. A retired educator with more than 20 years of experience, she has worked extensively with children and adolescents in educational settings.

Tanya is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and young adults navigate life’s challenges with confidence and resilience. Her areas of focus include school-related concerns, family and relationship dynamics, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions.

She creates a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe and supported. Using a person-centered approach with cognitive behavioral and solution-focused techniques, she helps clients build strengths, develop coping skills, and foster meaningful growth.

Outside of counseling, Tanya enjoys spending time with her children, grandchildren, dog Jaxson, and grand dog LuLu, crocheting, reading, supporting her many nieces and nephews’ activities, and cheering on LSU baseball.
